WATO Nepal undertook a fundraising campaign during Teej Festival organized by
Women's Creation at Radission Hotel Kathmandu.
A total of 30,000 rupees was raised from the visitors at the festival as their support towards
preserving public spaces in Kathmandu. The community park gyaneswor, today, serves people of different age groups,
and backgrounds. As a local park in Kathmandu, in the heart of the congested city,it has
served the communities and the general public in many ways.
